Admist the chaos

These past few weeks have been a little nutty, life is at times isn't it :)

One night I decided I don't care how tired I am I just need to scrapbook. So I sat down

grabbed a few pictures, paper and started working.

I had no plan in mind I just knew I needed to create. As I looked through pictures these ones just stood out to me. It's crazy to think it's been nearly 4 years since these were taken. Man the years just fly by!

Sometimes I think it's easier to create when you're pressed for time. It seems the less time I have the more decisive I am which in turn makes for faster layouts.

In 20 days we will be celebrating our 8 year wedding anniversary...insane!!!



Blingy bling bling

Hope everyone had a good weekend! After having the previous 2 Mondays off it's hard to think about going back to work already. I think every weekend should be a 3 day weekend. Ahhh to dream :)

My BFF is getting married! I'm so excited for them! I have known her since we were 5 so shes basically a sister to me. Last month was their engagement party. It was super fun! The theme was winter wonderland with a lot of sparkle. When I sat down to scrapbook this pic of the bride and our good friend Monica I knew it had to be very sparkly.

There will never be enough sparkle in my life!

Lately...

life has been so busy! With the end of the school year coming to a close and summer school starting my mind has been focused on work. Last night I finally got a little (and much needed) time to play.

 

Here's a peak off some flowers I added to my new floppy hat. As I get older I'm starting to care about being protected from the sun so I thought I should get something I could wear at the beach/lake. I'm not much of a hat person so we'll see how it goes :)

Challenge complete

As some of you might remember Ann-Marie and I started doing our weekly challenges a few months ago then life got in or way and it's been slightly forgotten. Well I finally got caught up on all the challenges.

My challenge: crate a layout with our using your favorite color.

This was really a big challenge for me. I started like 3 different layouts but then accidentally used pink so I had to start the challenge again.

Next was Ann-Marie's challenge: Hidden journaling

Time to play!

I finally got some time to play this weekend and it made me so happy! It was my fist time using me new room. The best part of my room is the functionality. Something that was lacking in my old space. I made a huge mess and was still able to clean it all up in less then 10 min. Miracle! Especially considering it was 3:30am and the last thing I wanted to do was clean :)

 

The journaling is kind of hard to see in the pic but it says "There is so doubt you are my greatest joy!". Love him!

6 year anniversary

This past weekend we celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary, man time flies! It was a whole weekend of fun which included taking silly pictures of ourselves. This layout shows some of our goofy-ness!

Glitter Fest

If you know me you know I can't resist anything sparkly. It's just ingrained in me (like the need to scrapbook). Why should my layouts be any different? I randomly found this picture of my best friend and I at my winter formal my senior year (yes it was almost 10 years ago...gasp) and it all just kind of came together.
