Looking forward

Oh washi tape how I love thee! In the beginning of the year I made this planner to house all of my daily to-dos and ideas. The cover was just stained and plain. It was pretty but needed more.
This is where the washi tape came in. It just sticks to the cover perfectly. On top of it I added the 'looking forward' rub-on.
 So easy and simple.
For the inside I made planner pages and tabs to make it complete.
Enjoy your weekend!

Dresser make over

Last weekend I was given this dresser. We were in serious need of a dresser for our room and my Dad just happened to have this one in his shed. It was my grandparents so that make its extra special :)
Before
 After
Now its the perfect grey to compliment our room. And bonus my dad even had the paint so it was 100% free to us! Score!

Getting organized - mission my office

As things are getting busier I feel like I need to get organzed before I loose my mind! With losts of orders coming in and craft fairs to do I needed a place to keep track of all my orders. I made these clipboards to hang in my office next to my packaging area.
Now in a glance I can see what I need to do to stay on to of things.

Photo storage/ Layout planning

Have you ever had a specific idea or title for a layout and when you sit down to do it your mind goes blank? It happens(ed) to me a lot! My memory is terrible (really it is. I'm scared to get old, who knows what it will be like then)and I was so tired of forgetting my layout ideas so I made this form. Basically you can create it to suit your needs. As you can see below the points I wanted to document or remember are:

1) What event are the pictures from
2) Date
3) Where
4) If I had a title in mind
5) What I want to journal about. Sometimes it has nothing to do with what the event is or what we were doing in the picture. It may be a feeling or a quote etc.
6) If there was a specific product I had in mind
7) Sketch

Now I don't fill out the form completely for every layout I want to create. Sometimes I just want to jot down a title and date, etc.

This has been a very helpful tool for me. Hopefully this will help some of you out too :)
