My Love mini

This is a quick little mini I made my husband for his birthday. He's very hard to shop for so I decided something to show him how much I love him would be better than a different gift.

It was super simple to make. I just sewed together three sheets of paper then folded them in half.

And please ignore my chipped Halloween nail polish!

Road trip mini

The start of a mini for an upcoming road trip. Now I can't wait to fill it!

Music feeds the soul

This weekend I got to spend lots of time playing with my stash of goodies (thanks to my moms air conditioning). I made some good progress on my project life and made this mini to hold all my concert memories.

I used our music note album for the covers.

   The little wood stars are from Studio Calico. They are surrounded with  swarovski crystals...love that sparkle!

           Here's the inside progress so far. This was at the Toby Keith concert last summer. Before I chopped all my hair off. I'm missing my long hair these days!!!

I have five more concerts so far to put in this book. Off to get working on that...

Park City album...finished!

 I feels so good to have finished this album! Usually I get board half way through a project and never finish it.

 Each day is divided with a divider labeled with the day and the places we visited.

After the divider I typed all the fun things we did that day

 I added a few bags to hold little mementos from the day

 Between the dividers are all the pictures from the day along with little funny memories

 I just glued the photos back to back to save space.

A super easy and quick way to document a wonderful trip! Thanks for looking!

Vacation mini

This weekend I had a little bit of free time so I decided to get started on my (not so mini) mini album from out trip. It's one of those things...either do it now or get back to it five years from now. I've chosen to go with a day by day format. Below is a sneak of the dividers for each day.  

This is the stack of photos...a little huge. I might need to go buy bigger binder rings :)

New items now available!

Today I was finally able to add some of the new designs to the shop! These are all 6"X8" it's my favortie size to work with right now.

 I have tickets to 7 concerts over the course of this year so I can't wait to add the pics and ticket stubs to this album!

I love the wood grain on this journal so I left it natural. It should darken as it ages and take on a beautiful tone.

Here are the last few pages of 2011's December Daily.

 Day 25 is the rest of the pages.

 We do a lot of house hopping on Christmas Eve and Christmas day

so it always takes extra pages to document them.

 What I usually do is include and envelope at the end of the book to house all

of the pictures that didn't make it into the album.

That way everything is in one place.

I hope you all enjoyed my finished book (better late then never right!)
